By participating in this special offer from OPPD, you agree to the following terms & conditions:

  1. Must install and enroll device in OPPD Smart Thermostat Program within 8 weeks of device shipping date or you will be charged up to $100 for device on your OPPD bill.

    OPPD will review the device shipment to determine enrollment due by date. Extensions will not be given. Failure to enroll the device into OPPD Smart Thermostat Program within the allotted time will result in a charge of up to $100 for the device on your OPPD bill.

  2. Must create and maintain an active account with device manufacturer and have device linked to that account. (account information must match information on OPPD account)
  3. Must agree to OPPD Smart Thermostat program terms and conditions.
  4. Must be enrolled in the OPPD Smart Thermostat program for 12 months otherwise you will be charged the cost of the device, up to $100 on your OPPD bill.
  5. Must have central AC.
  6. You have the option to select which device you would like to receive. OPPD will apply point of sale discount of up to $100.  You are responsible for any additional costs above the discounted amount. Additional costs can be covered via major credit card.
  7. Returns not accepted after 4 weeks of device shipping date.

    OPPD will review the device shipment to determine return due by date. Extensions will not be given. Failure to return the device within the allowable time will result in return not being accepted.

  8. Returns are handled through TechniArt. Any returns handled outside of TechniArt will not be reimbursed by OPPD or TechniArt. Failure to follow return process may result in a charge of up to $100 for the device.
  9. If you receive the free/subsidized device, you are not eligible for the $100 bill credit.
  10. If you previously received a free/subsidized device, you are not eligible for an additional free/subsidized device.
  11. You may be eligible for a Smart Thermostat installation rebate, check program details – click HERE for more information.
  12. OPPD does not warranty any professional installation services.
  13. You acknowledge that this smart device is not under warranty by OPPD. All device defects should be reported to the device manufacture’s customer support.
  14. You are responsible for determining the device compatibility with your HVAC system utilizing the OEM device compatibility checker and have confirmed that the device is compatible with your HVAC system. You will not return my device due to incompatibility.
  15. Must be purchased by OPPD account holder at place of residence.
  16. If previously determined to be ineligible for free/subsidized device, customer may be deemed ineligible for this promotion.
  17. OPPD will review all free/subsidized device orders to determine eligibility.
  18. Must ensure compatibility between your HVAC system and the smart device prior to purchase.
  19. These smart thermostat devices are available on a first come, first serve basis, while supplies last.
